Shipping Policy

1. Where We Ship

SmartStroy ships throughout Bulgaria and across the European Union. Shipping quotes outside the EU are available on request at sales@smartstroy.bg.

2. Processing Time

  • In-stock items: dispatched within 48 hours of payment confirmation (business days).
  • Heavy machinery: dispatched within 3–5 business days depending on availability and crating.
  • Orders placed Friday after 14:00 EET, weekends or Bulgarian public holidays are processed the next business day.

3. Delivery Times

  • Sofia metropolitan area: 1–2 business days.
  • Rest of Bulgaria: 2–4 business days.
  • EU member states: 5–10 business days depending on destination and carrier.

Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Heavy machinery may require an appointment.

4. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We use trusted Bulgarian and pan-European carriers including Speedy, Econt and pallet-freight partners for heavy machinery. The carrier is selected based on weight, dimensions and destination.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination. Heavy machinery shipments include crating, securing and pallet handling fees where applicable. The final cost is displayed before payment — no hidden fees are added afterwards.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched you will receive an email with the tracking number and carrier link. You can also request status updates at any time by emailing sales@smartstroy.bg with your order number.

7. Delivery Inspection

Please inspect all packages on delivery. If the outer packaging shows visible damage, note it on the carrier's delivery slip before signing. Report any damage, missing items or defects to sales@smartstroy.bg within 48 hours with photos so we can open a claim with the carrier.

8. Failed Deliveries & Address Errors

Please ensure the shipping address and contact phone provided at checkout are accurate. If a parcel is returned because of an incorrect address, refused delivery or failure to collect, the customer is responsible for the additional re-shipping cost.

9. Customs, Duties & Taxes

Orders within the EU include all applicable VAT — no additional customs charges apply. Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees in the destination country, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

10. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for purchased items pass to the customer upon delivery by the carrier to the address provided. We insure all heavy machinery shipments in transit.
